The website concept below was a redesign I created of an original UX design project. The client wanted to create a search engine website for researchers, scientists, professionals, and students that used unique commands and displayed results quickly. The purpose of this portfolio piece is to showcase my UX design principles implemented during the redesign of this website. The examples below represent the 60:30:10 rule regarding chosen colors, addressing performance load time by reducing the number of interfacing elements. using Miller’s law by limiting user’s cognitive load.
